My Approach To Photography

Funnily enough, I actually do not take many pictures, but those images I do create, I do my best to make them the best that they can be. Whilst I will quite happily work in a variety of different genres, my favourite are the dark art and other artistically creative ones, and ideally I like the message, story or impact of an image to be greater than the sum of the constituent parts.

Each genre, whether nature, art, portrait or running photos, has its own challenges that must be overcome. As an IT-geek in my daytime job, I am quite happy to use technology both during and after the shot - and I don't constrain myself to working purely "in camera" or with traditional approaches.

I live in Surrey, UK, (about 25 miles from central London) and am a committee member of Woking Photographic Society (WPS).
